Perspective fell into place so simply last night. Life, family, career, friends, self- all of it made simple. We spend too much time making plans for who we will be. Some people live in the past unwilling to let go of what they’ve lost, but isn’t it an equal folly to live in a future none of us is promised?
Even as a child I had the good fortune of knowing life was a blessing. But in this, my 25th year of life, I know life is a blessing one day at a time. So today, every day, I am thankful for the beautiful people and moments I’ve been given and will let gratitude be my compass.
